Location
Milan Malpensa Airport (IATA: MXP) serves not only the Milan area but also a great part of the country due to the number of international and intercontinental flights. Passenger traffic: 28.7 million (2019). It is located 45 km northwest of Milan city. (SEE MAP).
Hotels inside the terminals or nearby
There are two hotels within the airport: Sheraton Milan Malpensa in T1 and Moxy Milan in T2. In turn, in T1 there is an individual rest option in the form of cabines.
Terminals
There are two terminals: T1 serves the vast majority of flights, being the largest terminal with three concourses (1A, 1B, 1C). T2 serves EasyJet’s low-cost flights. A free bus service is available for transfers from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 and vice versa. It operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with a frequency of approximately 7 minutes from 6:00 a.m. at 11.00 p.m., and approximately 30 minutes from 11.00 p.m. at 6:00 a.m. Additionally, there is a rail connection between Malpensa Terminals 1 and 2 available daily from 4:27 a.m. at 00:20 a.m. and it is free for each passenger in possession of a valid ticket from one of the two Malpensa Terminals.

The airport has restaurants, cafes and bars (Briciole Bar is available 24 hours), as well as a wide variety of shops, including duty free, clothing stores, perfumeries, regional products, books and newspapers, electronics and telephony, among others.
