The Tilo regional train service connects the Malpensa terminals with the Ticino Canton in Switzerland, every day, with stops in Gallarate, Varese, Mendrisio, Lugano and Bellinzona
Departures from Como: the first train that leaves the Bellinzona station at 4:34 a.m., followed by trains every hour until 8:34 p.m.
Departs from Malpensa Terminal 2: The first train leaving the Malpensa Terminal 2 train station at 6:13 a.m., followed by hourly trains until 11:13 p.m.
Journey time: 2 hours and 13 minutes.
With the extension of the S50 to the Malpensa airport, the S40 line only goes to Varese, Monday to Saturday from 5.30 a.m. at 8.00 p.m. (departures from Varese from 5.36 a.m. to 7.36 p.m., departures from Como from 5.41 a.m. to 7.40 p.m.).
